You can take part at school, as long as a responsible adult is present to oversee your activities. It’s a great opportunity to learn about refugees and the challenges they face. You could also raise money to protect refugees and help them to rebuild their lives.
You can ask a teacher or parent to register. Then you can organize a school event, such as a sponsored walk, bike ride or fun run. You can choose a real refugee’s journey distance to tackle together.
For Two Billion Kilometers to Safety to be a success, we need as much support as possible. Try putting posters up at school and sharing the movement on social media to increase interest among your friends.
